Been clean or free from this crap for 16 days now. I started chewing when I was 17 and now 57, I can remember it being 42 cents a can, and now its 5 dollars or more. Would of had my house paid for if I had put away every penny spent on chew. I was almost a 2 can a day snuffer of Copenhagen, this crap was my life and pretty much thought of nothing else but dipping. Just like most of you, when I was out, I walked up to 2 miles on occasion just for a tin. Scraped pennies together when I was broke, or borrowed money just to get my so called friend. spilt spitoons in the car, gross soda cans with chew all over the rim, and even drinking out of the wrong can or bottle tasting my own spit. Nothing new that no one else has done I am sure. I am just happy to have found this site with all its drama, but all its wonderful people to help me stay quit...thx to a few people who have already been my conscience, and have been my biggest supporters here, also thx to all the wonderful posts to read to help me say no each day..Thats the key here, everyday you must post roll and come to rhis site to read its posts, or like me probably at least 20 times a day im browsing. thx KTC.

Kbale welcome to the start of a new beginning. You will learn what Normal life is. It is so awesome all the new things you will do and how much better it will be without dip. I was 12 when I started dipping, I'm 52 now. Learning how to live a normal free life has been so damn great. I wasted so much of myself and families time. Enjoy all the victories. It sucks balls but worth every damn second of whatever she deals out! Damn proud to be quit with you!
ROLL TIDE ROLL! God, Family and crappie fishing! I will always be an addict, but hopefully never a slave again!

I wanted to say that a lot of people feel like that. and brings to mind this W.O.W.
It's a really good way to look at "loosing your friend" or loosing a "family member"

kbale, way to stay connected, proud to quit with you!

* Your best friend?; By JDM, April 2016

What if your best friend routinely punched you in the lip and made your gums hurt, stole $3-4 bucks out of your wallet every day, convinced you to hide away from your wife and kids for hours at a time, talked you into staying up late every night in a zombie-like state, left disgusting stains on your clothes and around your house, and slowly - day by day - dripped poison into your body... what would you do?

We all made the can our "best friend" for years, even decades like me. Now it's time to wake the fuck up, look that "friend" in the eye and punch him square in the fucking mouth then kick his ass all the way to the gutter.

I'm pissed I ever let myself have a "friend" like that - never again! My hands are taped and I'm throwing haymakers today.

Get pissed and stay quit today brothers and sisters!
