That is why the KTC is here, to hold each other accountable. IMHO E-cigs are a bad idea, ride this early quit out, and I promise you you'll feel better in a week.

I agree time to quit. Quit talking, Quit romancing, let's get still and endure the suck.
Let's start living the life you were created to live... His way, not yours.
You can do this.. You need to do this fore yourself.
We will help you endure. Bring on the pain... Bring on the change.
I quit with you today.

Congrats on 3 days! Drink more water :D

Hi,
Quit cigarettes Oct 10, 1999 with patches and gum....never quit nicotine. Gum got too expensive for the amount I was using, remembered my 'Hero' granny dipped the powdered sweet snuff and you also got a nice set of 8 ounce glasses too. Anyone remember. Well bought one, they we plastic though, tried a little and thought, not bad. Didn't have anyone to teach me as Granny has been gone a while so it took a while to get over the nausea but I didn't spit. Still don't 15 years later. I am a hospice nurse, have all my funeral plans arranged, all my ducks in a row.....except the BIGGEST ONE.....if anyone should know better. Well after years of burnout and looking into getting into a new field, I realize to get the job I have to be nicotine free.
I was mad, how dare anyone tell me how to live, they don't know what I go through, I should be exempt after sitting at the bedside of my 500th pt dying, I should get a frickin medal! :o Well this was 8am, by noon I am sick, I want that job, I had that interview, it went great, I will be working normal people hours, banking hours, Holidays off, no 12 hr rotating night shifts. I will have my family and life back!!!! roflmao Nope, it is not fair, I will get a lawyer, a doctor prescription, I will make them hire me with an exception........ 'bang head'
Then I hear that inner voice, what's it worth to ya! Is it worth some pain, some sacrifice? You been praying to Me for this job but you are not willing to give up that crutch even for your life with your family back, your dream job, your grandkids, your kids, your hubby? Nope, just STAND YOUR GROUND, KEEP THAT SNUFF, go back to status quo and WHINE about it.....................
4pm-chat room has talked me into flushing the big bottle and the ones that are easy to find. I head out and get nicotine free e-juice and smoky mountian...ok, that chit is not like WE GARRETT and Sons sweet snuff.....gross....
Got 2 numbers for when I need help now, been finding and tossing stash after stash, it is hard to do, told my large family, half nic users, half not. Good support for family, but if I go back they will not hold me accountable. We enable, sad but we say we are very accepting but often it is just to avoid conflict.
Not sure about the e-cig, it has been my crutch with the flavored nic free vapor but I think playing with the smoke is a distraction, look kids, Grandma can blow smoke rings............maybe not.........
Hey Granny (if I may). I'm a grandpa love every minute of it want to have a whole lot more time with them grandyoungins so I ditched the nic bitch 44 days ago! The only way I've made it this far is because of this site and the peeps on here really give a shit about you! I'm an addict of 38 years but would be damn proud to be quit with you today!
ROLL TIDE ROLL! God, Family and crappie fishing! I will always be an addict, but hopefully never a slave again!

I see you caved. Why do you think leaving this site is an accountable action? You ask for accountability, so here is your chance:

1. What Happened?

2. Why did it happen?

3. What will you do differently so it doesn't happen again?

Did you get any other quitters phone numbers? Did you go to chat and ask for help?

I am 45 and chewed for 17 years. Quitting is the hardest thing I have done other then be a dad, but I wouldn't be quit for 314 days without this site. The choice is your, I hope you come back.
