Started dipping when I was 22 (now 27) only when I would drink. It slowly turned in to once a day, twice a day, a can a day. Everyone I'm around is a dipper and much older so I have never thought it could really affect me, dentist has never said anything about dip gums, lumps, or anything. I just feel like I have been lucking out these past few years and I wanna stop before it gets to a point of no return, so starting now (again) no more dip. I'm so glad I found a forum dedicated to this and look forward to recieving/giving help!

Thanks,
David

David, finding KTC is the best thing you for your quit. There is a lot of support from many many quitters here..and they will support you. However, you have to want to quit. You have to hate nic. You have to put in work to your quit. Get on the forums and read everything. Come in here and vent.

First start off by dumping or flushing all of your shit. All of it. Your emergency supply too. Don't have anything related to that shit around you anymore. I know you said that you have a lot of people around you who dip. Well try to seperate yourself as much as possible from said people. Also, let them all know that you are starting your quit and tell them not to be a**holes about it.

Second, read this.

Then, start posting roll here. This is your quit group.

Also, get on live chat, send PM's to others, and trade some digits. Let me know if you need anything.

What this bad ass^^^ said!
The KTC quit plan works. Learn the plan. Live the plan! The poison sucks. Learn to hate it!
I could quit all by myself if I was stranded on an island without any nicotine...

Quitting the KTC way: Learn it, Live it; LOVE it!

"The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me." srans

Hey David! What is point of no return? Sound like me when I was about your age. I'm 50 now started at age 12. Always told myself I know people that's dipped or smoked whole life lived to be 70,80 man if I can make it to 60 shit that's old, be good enough for me! I was waiting on my dentist tell me I needed quit! How stupid! Alot of the times when there telling people that it's to late! Quit now don't look back! We're all here to help!
ROLL TIDE ROLL! God, Family and crappie fishing! I will always be an addict, but hopefully never a slave again!
