I have been driving for about 14 years and I have yet to get in a car accident. Even with my awesome driving skills, the first thing I do when I sit down in my car is put on my seatbelt. Even though it has been unessasary to wear thus far, I have no idea what will happen today. Not only that, it takes minimul effort; a total of two seconds. I do not even think about it anymore, it is just part of the routine; no different then sticking the key in the ignition and starting the car.

Roll call is no different. I wake up, grab my phone and post roll. I dont think twice about it. It takes minimul effort each day. I am pretty confident that I could have left KTC a year ago and I would still be quit. But I do not know what today will bring. I could lose a loved one, run into a old friend, or face some other trigger that could wake up the nic bitch and have her start whispering in my head.

KTC is my seatbelt. I hope I never in a situation where I need to use it. But with the minimal effort needed each day, I can not find a logical reason to not post roll call each morning and give myself a saftey net for the day.
