I'm on my 3rd day without a dip and man do I feel strange. I'm glad I found this group to join and post in every day. I also like the roll call to keep me accountable. I have barely slept the last two nights. I feel like I'm all hot and buzzing from no tobacco. I thought it would be the opposite.

I'm hoping I get more sleep tonight but from what I've read it's completely normal to have irregular sleep for the first few weeks. It's the wierdest thing at night where I feel like there is this huge void in my life. Of course, deep down I know this is BS and that a dip would make me feel good for about 5 minutes and then I'd feel like shit again.

Anyway, I appreciate this forum and I'll be posting every day in roll call starting right now. No fuck.ing fear!!

Hang in there Jim.
You are on what many consider the worst day. I went about 2 weeks of some messed up sleep and things are getting better on week 3.
Get some gum, seeds, fake stuff, whatever you can to keep you from caving in. Read everything on this site and then read some more.

PM me if you need a number, I'll help anyway I can

Welcome Jim. Great decision. You are in the company of hundreds and hundreds of years of addiction. We feel your pain and know what you are experiencing. If we did it so can you. Embrace the miserable fucking time you are having, it will pass in a few days. Remember the misery and stay quit so that you never have to feel that way again. Look at it as a hang over. A really fucking bad, painful, hangover. It get MUCH better. Post roll and keep your word. Need a number pm me and I will send you mine. You got this brother. Be proud of your accomplishment. This shit is powerful but you are now a bad assed quitter.

Welcome to the quit. Glad you found the site. It is great IF you use the site and take advantage of the resources. Post every day, keep your word, make sure you have a solid plan for when the triggers it and they will keep hitting for days, months to come. Get phone numbers of quiters and use them.

Rage here and not the family or friends. It gets better. Tell us more about how long you used, why you started, what made you quit, what your plan is....

Keep fighting Jim you almost have all the NIC out of your system. Keep yourself busy by reading.

You CAN do this !!
It's not that some people have willpower and some don't... It's that some people are ready to change and others are not.

NEVER AGAIN !!
