Title: Taking The Leap!
captcharlie - August 7, 2008 05:06 AM (GMT)
Well I hope i'm in the right place for this. Found this site while surfing and decided to try and quit!! I am 44 yrs old & I've been chewing for 32 years 4-5 pouches a day. After looking around here i figure if yall can do it so can i. Have tried before with failed results so wish me luck. Just threw my last pouch in the trash. ( the pictures were a real eye opener btw) I guess now my next step is to join the november group and look forward to taking this one day at a time. So yall will probably see me posting more on here for hints and help. Thanks for being here.

Welcome charlie. Check your Inbox (1) top right corner of your screen.
You will not try, You will do. There is no luck. You make the decision to quit and we will help you any way we can. You will be required to do the heavy lifting. Read, post, read and then post some more. stick close to the site. It's gonna be a ruff few days. But if I can do it, so can you.
Now get yer ass over to November 08 and stay quit.

captcharlie,
Welcome aboard, as Ready stated no try or luck about it. You have made the choice to quit and it's a great one at that. First and foremost drink a lot of water the first 3 days this will help flush the nicotine out of your body. Then saddle up for the ride. We'll be your safety net when the ride get's rough you just give us the chance to help you through.

Hey Dave!
Welcome aboard. Go over to the November group and post in there. It's full of people who are about the same point in their quit, and they'll help you a lot.
